Lodge Connect

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lodge Connect (the “Platform”), available at lodgeconnect.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lodge Connect. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that all registration information you submit is truthful and accurate.

The Platform is designed for use by members and associates of Masonic lodges operating under recognised constitutions. While registration is open to all eligible adults, certain features are intended specifically for Freemasons and those attending Masonic meetings.

3. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date profile information, including your rank and contact details

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that appear to be compromised, inactive for an extended period, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Booking & Attendance

The Platform allows you to book attendance at Masonic meetings and associated dining events (“Bookings”). When you make a Booking, you confirm your intention to attend the specified meeting and, where applicable, the festive board.

  • Bookings are subject to availability and may be limited by the hosting lodge
  • You should cancel bookings promptly if you can no longer attend, as lodges incur catering costs based on confirmed numbers
  • If you cannot attend, you may submit a formal apology through the Platform, which will be recorded and read at the meeting
  • Guest bookings made on behalf of non-registered attendees are your responsibility
  • Lodges reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at their discretion

5. Payments & Refunds

Where dining is offered at a meeting, payment may be required. The Platform supports several payment methods including card payments, bank transfers, cash, and cheques.

  • Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Lodge Connect never stores, processes, or has access to your full card details
  • Bank transfers should be made to the account details provided at the time of booking. Confirmation may take several working days
  • Cash and cheque payments are settled directly with the lodge on the night of the meeting
  • Refund policies are determined by individual lodges. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact the lodge Secretary or Treasurer directly
  • Lodge Connect does not hold funds on behalf of lodges and is not responsible for disputes between members and their lodges regarding payments

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and design elements, are the property of Lodge Connect and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or in any way exploit any of the Platform's content without our prior written consent.

7. User Content

Lodge officers may upload documents such as summons and minutes through the Platform. By uploading content, you represent that you have the right to share that content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

Lodge minutes are confidential documents restricted to members of the relevant lodge. You agree not to share, redistribute, or publicly disclose minutes or other restricted documents obtained through the Platform.

We reserve the right to remove any content that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lodge Connect disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Lodge Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to Lodge Connect, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at our contact page or email us at support@lodgeconnect.co.uk.
